Question: I have left my batch of pills at home and I am stopping at my boyfriends so I will not be able to take my pill tonight like I usually do, we had sex last night unprotected and I am scaredd that missing my pill tonight could lead to pregnancy? If I could take it in the morning would that protect me still? I finish my pills on friday night for my 7 day break so I'm near the end of my batch. I just need some professional advice please
Answer: Depending on what pill it is it should be ok to take it in the morning, especially seeing as you have nearly finished the cycle. Please refer to the patient leaflet for further information on what to do if you miss a pill and consult a gynecologist of your GP if necessary.
