Question: I started my first course of rigevidon pills on the 10 June 2012 and i missed two pills. The two pills I missed were on the 20th and 21st day. Now I am due to take a 7 day break for my period before I start the next course. I would like advise as to whether the next course will be effective if I do take the 7 day break now and commence the Course from the 09 of July? thank you.
Answer: It is recommended that you start your next pill cycle as you normally would, i.e. as if you hadn't missed the 2 pills. You should use additional contraception during your 7-day pill-free interval.
