Question: Will taking the pill put me at greater risk of developing Cancer?
Answer: The Pill has for quite a number of years been considered "cancer neutral". This is because whilst it may slightly increase the risk of some cancers, it decreases the risk of others. Speak to your GP if you have a family history of certain types of cancer and weigh up your options. If you are not happy taking the pill or another hormone based contraceptive there are many other types of contraception to choose from.
