Question: I have had Xenical before, but have been refused for treatment by your doctor. Why?

Answer: Unfortunately our doctor cannot prescribe Xenical to you as the medication is contraindicated for patients who have had their gall bladder removed. Our doctor does not believe it is safe to prescribe Xenical to patients who have had this type of surgery, however doctors can differ in their opinion. I know that you stated in your medical questionnaire that you have previously been on this medication, however our doctor's prescribing policy is generally stricter as he does not get to see you face to face.
